Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

The Future Of This Group

I've been putting off writing this for a while, but it's finally time to bite the bullet.

This group can only function if people get involved. Unfortunately, since the start of this year we've had about a dozen Notes sent in requesting visits.

And most of those were from just a few members.

I'm certain that there is not a lack of people who are in need of help. But it seems that no one other than myself, my contributors and a few others can make the effort to find them.

My time on dA is pretty limited these days, and I know that my contributors have their own issues to deal with too.

Truth be told, this problem has been going on since before

Amy's sudden death in 2009. We have a largish number of members, and many more who watch the group, but it appears that none of you feel an inclination to get involved.

I'm been wracking my brain trying to think of a way to persuade more of you to take an interest, but I've got nothing.

It pains me to say this, but I'm seriously considering shutting down the group, or else finding someone who thinks they can make this group work again.

In other news, the group's subscription has run out. Given the current situation, I don't really see the point in renewing it.

If you want this group to be a source of love and support for those in need, please speak up now! If you can help us, great. If you can't, please help me to find those who can.

had major neck surgery in Jan. and major shoulder surgery 3 and half weeks ago
and now have to deal with getting a divorce
