Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Hello Everyone!

EDIT - Well sadly as of today there are no entries for the contest in the gallery folder so I will be making it a public contest. So officially it is now open to members and non members alike! And to be fair the contest will now run till November 1st!

Also I will be updating the prize list as we have had some more given, so please spread the word and even if you just offer a feature in your journal, prize offers are always welcome!

I had been pondering this for a while but I have decided to splurge a little of my limited funds to sponsor a prize for a contest. So here it is, nothing grand and you will want to watch this space as I will add new prize donations and other info over the duration as its needed.

So the contest is to create a new icon for the CoF group, as you can see our old one is a little stretched. The group icons are 50x100 and we would prefer it if the celtic knotwork heart was used somewhere in your design. But beyond that feel free to get creative and create something new and interesting!

The contest will begin today(randomly) and will end 30th September DA time (if the website says that your entry was posted on the 1st October then we will not allow it sorry.)

At the moment this is open to members only but if there is little interest in it I will open it to everyone.

I will try to open a folder in our gallery for contest entries so please submit them there. IF there is no folder titled "Icon Contest" note them to the group titled contest entries and I'll do what I can from there.

Feel free to note ME (*TheFangyFae) if you have any questions and I will start a FAQ on here.
